Go for beautiful walks almost undisturbed by other tourists (though the mountains' appeal will diminish if you have already visited Santo Antao). Go to fish with the locals; there is a profusion of blue marlin. Don't go for white beaches or windsurfing. There may soon be a museum of the old seminary but at present the details of the island's history are rather inaccessible to the tourist.
