Go for beatiful walks almost undisturbed by other tourists (though the mountians appela will dimish if you have already visited Santo Antao). Go to fish with the locals; there is a profussion of blue marlin. Go if you are trying to reach Raso island, but nir for white beaches or windsurfing. There may soon be a museum of the old seminary but at present the details of the island's history are rather inaccessible to the tourist.
