On Sal you can windsurf, surf, sunbathe, swim, enjoy the international hotels with their pools and other facilities, dive and go deep-sea fishing.
You can take lonely walks along its treeless coast line. You can visit the imposing vulcano crater of Pedra Lume and you can swim, dive or do a little underwater caving at the foaming lagoon of Buracona.
It is not, however the place for mountainwalkers or those, who love verdant sceneray.
